GBC designs and delivers affordable, high-impact diagnostic technologies—and we embed sustainability into how we research, make, and support them. Our current actions include launching a company-wide carbon inventory program, reducing solvents and single-use items in labs and production, and promoting reusable workflows to shrink our footprint.

Our Focus

Our sustainability approach can be divided into the following three areas:

Environmental

We are greening R&D and manufacturing: cutting solvent use in chromatography/reactions, replacing single-use materials with reusables, and formalizing carbon accounting to guide reduction priorities.

Social

We act with responsibility to employees and communities. During the pandemic we upheld no salary reductions or layoffs and supported local screening efforts with health authorities and hospitals.

Governance

We commit to transparent operations and accountability from the board to daily execution, aligning with global ESG expectations and continuous disclosure.
