In the global fight against the pandemic, where the outbreak was rapidly spreading, timely and precise screening for positive cases was crucial for epidemic control. To address this, GBC collaborated with Kaohsiung Medical University to develop rapid screening test kits for COVID-19

Due to the crisis of global warming and climate change, the Taiwanese government responded to international initiatives in 2022 by actively declaring a commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. In February 2023, they passed the Climate Change Response Act and established a carbon trading market in August of the same year. In 2024, carbon fees were imposed on domestic carbon-intensive industries and major carbon emitters to incentivize companies to reduce emissions.
